Believing that church vitality must be rooted in theological vitality for pastors, staff and board members, and lay leaders, we want to invest in the theological vitality of our churches and their leadership team in 2021.

To accomplish this, Pathway Weekends is providing FREE Theological Vitality Weekend Workshops for your leadership teams and church in different areas of applied theology for the local church such as Bio-ethical issues and the mission of the Church. These workshops aim at stimulating a theological understanding of current issues while formulating practical strategies for the local church to be successful at advancing its mission in an ever-changing world. 

What will these workshops look like? We will come to you! Gather your team or church members in your own space (or online), and we will bring the teaching and resourcing. Click on the button below to see a sample outline and to learn more about setting up a workshop for your church.

The Theological Vitality Weekend Workshops will cover the following subjects:

Cross-cultural Ministry (Missiology) 
1. Establishing a Multicultural Paradigm in the Canadian Church
2. Leading a Multi-ethnic Leadership Team
3. Gospel Contextualization to Indigenous Communities
4. Gospel Contextualization to Pluralistic International Communities

21st Century Ethical Issues   
1. Theology of the Sanctity of Life, Marriage, and Departure  
2. The Church and Bio-ethical Issues. (Gender Identity, MAID)  

Ecclesiology
1. The Purpose of the Church in a Post-Christian World
2. Pentecostal Practice amidst a skeptical World
3. Koinonia during isolation and restrictions

These workshops aim at stimulating a theological understanding of current issues while formulating practical strategies for the local church to be successful at advancing its mission in an ever-changing world.

• Arrival (Dinner with Pastor)*

Saturday Morning: 
• 9am - 12pm | Theological Workshops (3 sessions with 15 min breaks each hour)
• 12pm - 12:30pm | Lunch
• 12:30pm - 2:30pm | Application/Practical Sessions (2 sessions which include Interactive activities such as roundtable discussion and Q&A)
