In recognition of the leadership coaching needs of credential holders in the district, the District Leadership Team has approved a subsidized executive coaching program with the following guidelines:

1. Available to any active credential holder in the BC/Yukon District.

2. Must submit an application for a coaching engagement with a district-approved coach; or in exceptional situations, a program approved by the Executive Officers Committee.

3. All invoices must be pre-approved by the District Director of Coaching in consultation with the District Officers.

4. The district coaching subsidy provided is to a maximum of $500 per active credential holder per year. The subsidy is provided as a matching grant dollar for dollar provided by the credential holder.

5. A list of district-approved coaches shall be provided to credential holders seeking this subsidized executive coaching subsidy.

Alexander Ku:  Alex is passionate about leadership development and building leadership capacity within a team.  He is currently a healthcare administrator in the Lower Mainland health authority where special emphasis is placed on coaching and leadership development.  Alex has an MBA, and is a certified Executive Coach, a member of the International Coach Federation and is also a licensed trainer of the 555 Coaching Out-Of-The-Box coaching program. He believes coaching skills can be learned by anyone and this skill can be applied in all areas of our lives.
