ALPHA has built new tools to help local congregations with our mission of engaging people outside the church.  The 2016 Global Advertising Campaign and a New Documentary-Style ALPHA Film Series journeys through the themes of knowing and following Christ in relevant and engaging formats for the next generation.

Bear Grylls is known as the face of outdoor survival and adventure.  With 1.5 billion fans worldwide, he will be sharing his journey to faith through ALPHA, in a way that the world has never seen before.  The tools offered by ALPHA 2016 are timely and relevant for Canadians, but only local churches have the infrastructure and community presence to mobilize their congregations and engage their neighbours.  Congregational leaders in each region of our district will decide upon the scope and involvement which will be most effective to reach their communities.

ALPHA has been an trusted evangelistic tool used by churches across a wide spread of denominations, contexts and cultures. Over 27 million people have experienced ALPHA globally, including more than 640,000 people in Canada.  Thousands of lives are transformed each year through Canadian churches who continue to create time and space for ALPHA, where guests can explore their questions and begin a journey to discover Jesus.

As part of our commitment to the PAOC 2020 Initiative, we believe that partnering with this Global ALPHA Campaign will serve as a viable strategy of revitalization and multiplication for all our local churches.  Information is available at www.alphacanada.org and product and materials will also be available through the PAOC online store at www.wordcom.ca beginning in early 2016.

Please join me in prayer, to believe that 2016 will be an exceptional year of multiplication, as thousands of people are reached with the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  Thank you for considering this material and preparing your church or ministry organization for effective evangelism and discipleship in 2016.

We’re Better together,
Ken
